Reverend Doug Seidel

As of November 1st, 2001 Rev. Douglas Seidel has become the new Senior Pastor of Jesus Focus Ministry. Rev. Seidel comes to JFM with 25 years experience at Macungie Baptist Church in Macungie, PA. He is a Pennsylvania native, graduating from Muhlenberg College in 1971 and Westminster Theological Seminary in 1975 with his Master of Divinity. He started in Huntingdon Valley Presbyterian Church, and had a short stay with Jesus Focus in 1976 as a substitute pastor. The rest of the time he has spent at Macungie. During his years in Allentown, PA area he hosted "Oasis" a Bible teaching ministry on local radio, and did a stint as co-host on a local Christian T.V. talk show. For three years he served as Chairman of the Ecumenism Committee of Lehigh Country Conference of Churches.

Doug has been an active supporter of Jesus Focus since 1976 and has taught the Norriton Presbyterian Church Jesus Focus Bible Study for the past year. Along with his spiritual experience, Doug has been the speaker for the Symposium on Historic Plants, and a regular lecturer at the Center of Historic plants at Monticello, Charlottesville, Virginia.
