Richard was the beloved founding pastor of Jesus Focus Ministry which began as a series of Bible Studies in 1974. Under his leadership and gift for teaching God's word, the Ministry, which began in private homes, expanded to include a Friday night Prayer and Praise Service and in 1988 moved into its new Teaching Center on Bristol Road in Churchville PA. Rev. Richard M. Weir, was born in Romford, England just 12 miles east of St. Paul's Cathedral. He was brought up in a Christian home and taught in a Baptist Church throughout the early years of his life. After high school he served his draft time of two years in the British Army, and then worked in commerce and industry until he entered seminary at the age of twenty-six. His theological training was at the London Bible College and he was ordained as a Baptist Minister in July 1961. Richard's dedication and love for Jesus has truly blessed the hearts of many over the years.
